Here's the problem with that. Age is not a diagnosis. And in my years of treating people in pain, I've rarely seen a case where age alone was the real driver of someone's problem.
What I have seen — over and over — is people being given incomplete explanations. And when the explanation is incomplete, the treatment plan usually is too.

Sometimes rest is the right call. Often it makes things significantly worse. I'll explain the difference — and what your body actually needs instead.
Pain is an alarm system — but alarms can be oversensitive. This one belief keeps more people stuck than almost anything else I see in clinic.
Scans show structure. They don't always explain pain. What shows up on an MRI and what's actually driving your symptoms are often two different things.
Degeneration is real. But it's also extremely common in people with zero pain. So why are you hurting and they're not? The answer changes everything.
Random exercises rarely work. Progressive rehab that addresses your specific drivers usually does. There's a big difference — and most people never get shown it.
